The boys are growing up so fast! Jaden is such a big help with Zerik and is constantly wanting to hold him, and helps me out all the time!
Bridger is just finishing his second season of Soccer. He always had such a big grin on his face while out playing even though he was never even close to where the rest of the kids and the ball was! We need to spend some more time learning how to go after and kick the ball if he is going to continue playing.
Jaden and Bridger are both starting baseball tonight. Bridger is in Tee-ball and Jaden is in Coach Pitch. Jaden loves to go out and practice catching pop flies and grounders and practicing his hitting. I think he has a real future in baseball.
We lost our nanny again a couple of weeks ago and so we are having the Wessendorf girls help out. Ashlie Wessendorf is going to help us through the summer and may also be available in the fall. She has been great and am looking to have her full-time.
We are going to take a trip to Park City this coming weekend for Memorial Day. It should be fun and will enjoy getting a tan and swimming with the boys. We will probably do a little shopping and get the boys some summer clothes. I haven't been able to find any t-shirts for Jaden this week, I cannot figure out where all their clothes have gone. We are missing shoes as well. ???
I am still training as much as possible for my triathlon on June 20th. I am getting nervous as my final month approaches. It has been hard to find the time to train, and am grateful for my mom in coming over some nights to I can go get my workouts in. I have been bad the last month, actually since Easter, and snacking on easter candy has definitely had an impact on my weight as well so I am trying to lose a few pounds as well. Not getting fat by any means but would like to trim down again.
Zerik is about ready to walk! I is pushing himself up into a standing position and has taken a couple of steps, but hasn't quite put it all together. He has been doing that for about 2 weeks and I don't think it will be much longer until I will be chasing after him in a full sprint!! He has for teeth and he loves to take little bites out of apples and pears and munch them up with his little teeth. He is a mommas boy, and wants me to hold him all the time when at home. He says, "momma, momma" and it is hard to resist! He is getting some blonde hair growing in finally, and he doesn't look completely bald anymore. :)
Bridger is so excited to be starting kindergarten this coming fall, and is full of hugs and kisses as always. He is my lover bear and angel. Jaden is sad school is ending for now, even though he finally gets rid of his horrible 1st grad teacher Mrs Barker. She had told him he was the 2nd lowest in class and if he didn't get better he would never catch up once he got in 2nd grade. What teacher ranks their kids in 1st grade!! I am so glad he is going to be done with her.
Jaden does seem to be doing better in school, and works well with me in getting his homework done. I can't believe how handsome my boys are getting and how much I love them. I so wish I had more time to spend with them this summer!
I am planning on a couple of trips, including going to Disneyland in September! I made the mistake of telling them now, and now they ask me all the time if we are going tomorrow, tomorrow? tomorrow? hahaha Should be fun we are going with my friends Rob and Liz and their kids.
I am working on getting a new position with Monavie and am waiting to hear on the offer. I am thinking positive that I will get it, as I am in the final running. :) What will be, will be, and be for the best! :)

Jaden's Hearing
I was trying to get the boys to sit down for dinner and had repeatedly requested that they sit down. As they didn't responde, my voice gained more and more volume until Jaden said, "I just heard you mom, I am coming!" I replied that he had to hear me since he was in the same room as me and he logically replied, "You don't know what I hear Mom!" That caught me off gaurd and I had to laugh. I guess he is right. He has definitely gained a talent in selective hearing! :)

39 Days to Baby!
Hi Trina - I just have to share this with you. Love, Mom
June 2, 2008
Monday
Bridger and Jaden came to stay for the day. I was with them on Thursday, but usually see them every week day.
Jaden was in his pondering mood. “You haven’t seen us for a long time, have you Grandma?”
I told him his mother was sick on Friday, so I hadn’t tended them, but the cold she had would soon pass.
Bridger said, “Well, she’s going to have a baby, then she’ll be well.”
Jaden: “Do you know how many days. 39 days!”
I asked Jaden if he could remember when Bridger was born. He recalled Bridger being carried around in a backpack.
I mentioned him coming to the hospital to visit when Bridger was brand new and wrapped in a cuddly blanket.
Jaden said, “Yes, I remember seeing him.”
Then, thinking about being two years older than Bridger, said thoughtfully, “But, he didn’t see me when I was born.”
“No,” said Bridger, “I was looking at something else.”
I told Bridger maybe he was in Heaven looking down at Jaden. He gave me the look –
the ARE YOU NUTS! look.
He thought it over.
Then he began nodding his head.

I keep saying... I need to write that down, so maybe now I will.
For instance, last year I picked up Jaden from Kindergarten and he asked if it was Christmas and I replied no not yet. He then started to yell at the top of his lungs, "I WANT CHRISTMAS NOW!" He was very demanding, and I was trying not to laugh, but explained to him that that is not how nice boys act and that Santa is watching and will know he was being naughty. It only took a moment for him to recognize that he may not get Christmas at all, and he stopped. I could tell he was still upset that he wasn't getting Christmas that day, but it did eventually come as it always does.
I have dozens if not more of these cute things that have happened and am glad I know have one place to compile and share.
